Students will showcase their culinary crafts and skills as they compete in this year’s “Mystery Basket Challenge” style cooking competition!
Each team must consist of 2-5 team members, and their dishes will be judged by professionals from the culinary industry. Let’s get cooking!
Competition Date: Saturday, March 14, 2026 | 10 AM- 2 PM
Career Based Learning Prizes:
● 1st Place: Private Tour of a Restaurant Kitchen & $250 Food Gift Card
● 2nd Place: Meeting with a Professional Chef & $150 Food Gift Card
● 3rd Place: Meeting with a Professional Chef
Important Information
●Registration Deadline: Friday, January 30, 2026
● Mystery Basket Announcement (sent via email): Friday, February 6, 2026
● Registration Withdrawal Deadline (will receive a refund of payment if team withdraws by this date): Friday, February 20, 2026
● Payment Due Deadline: Friday, February 20, 2026
● Competition Day: Saturday, March 14, 2026
● Teams invited to present about their classes at VIP Event – March 2026
● Participants must be High School students currently enrolled in a district culinary program.
● There will only be 8 teams competing in the competition.
● Each team must have at least 2 and no more than 5 members.
● Teams can be either Middle or High School Students
● Substitution of team members should be made only if necessary.
● Each team will have the choice of wearing their own coordinated clothing, aprons or hair coverings.
● The cost to register is $350 per team.
