Support SAUSD students in their robotics design and engineering endeavors by volunteering to judge their robots in a course with a series of objectives, setting up robotics courses, supporting registration, and other tasks as needed, culminating in witnessing their skills in action during the competition; join us and directly contribute to the success of the event while inspiring future innovators.
EV Challenge - Race Day
May 4, 2024 | 9 AM – 3 PM
The Vital Link Electric Vehicle (EV) Challenge, formerly the Energy Invitational Competition, is where students showcase their design, construction, and racing skills, utilizing various energy sources to build or modify vehicles. At year-end, high school teams compete for first place in an exciting timed-trial race.
Exploring STEM through Construction
May 18, 2024 | 8 AM – 3 PM | Newport Beach, CA
Join us for a fun day of exploring STEM with a free interactive workshop that creates opportunities for students to learn about construction firsthand. The event is open to high school students ages 14 –18, with a special emphasis on introducing girls to the trades and possibilities that exist within the construction industry.
The event is centered around fostering a safety first mentality and boosting self confidence – skills that apply to everyday life. Students will learn to work as a team and effectively communicate with their peers and mentors to achieve successful completion of their projects.
