At Vital Link, our volunteers are the bridge between education and the professional world. They don’t just offer hours; they offer a vision of what’s possible for the next generation. This week, we are proud to spotlight Priyanka Sarbadhikary, a dedicated Vital Link volunteer whose professional journey and personal mission align perfectly with our goal of empowering students for real-world success.

Spotlight On: Priyanka Sarbadhikary

HR Leader | Founder, Thryve Resilience & Wellness | Vital Link Volunteer Priyanka is a seasoned HR leader with over 20 years of experience building people strategies and driving organizational growth. Beyond her corporate achievements, she is the founder of Thryve Resilience & Wellness, a coaching practice focused on helping young adults build the executive functioning skills and resilience needed to navigate life’s transitions. We sat down with Priyanka to discuss why she chooses to give back.

Why do you choose to volunteer your time with Vital Link?

"Throughout my career, I’ve been passionate about supporting individuals through growth and change. Vital Link provides a unique platform to do exactly that at a critical stage in a young person's life. Helping students move from uncertainty to clarity is incredibly rewarding."

How does your professional background in HR and coaching influence your volunteer work?

"In HR, you see firsthand the skills that are required to thrive in a modern workplace. My work with Thryve Resilience & Wellness also focuses on executive functioning. By volunteering, I can bring that 'real-world' perspective to students, helping them build the confidence and resilience they need to step into their careers with their best foot forward."

What impact do you hope to make on the students you work with?

"I want them to feel empowered. Whether it's through career guidance or simply sharing my own experiences with transition, my goal is to help them navigate the unknown with a sense of purpose. When a student realizes they have the tools to succeed, that’s when the magic happens."
