Our Student Leadership Summit is an enriching event tailored for students starting the path to prepare for their future careers! This summit is designed to provide invaluable opportunities for students. It’s a gateway to diverse career exploration, where students can gain hands-on experience in various fields. The summit places a strong emphasis on skill development, offering workshops that enhance essential skills like leadership, communication, and problem-solving.
This year, the summit aims to reach over a thousand students around Southern California and will feature over 40 college and career exhibitors.

Wing Lam, the eldest of the three founding brothers of Wahoo’s Fish Taco, is a prominent figure in the restaurant industry with over 30 years of experience. Recognized as the face of the iconic brand, Wing is not only a seasoned entrepreneur but also a sought-after speaker at global events like the IEG Conference. His television appearances on shows such as “The Secret Millionaire” and the Food Network highlight his diverse presence.

Lead a Workshop
Empower students to build vital skills with workshops such as Financial Literacy, Networking, Career Mapping, Time Management, and more. From enhancing networking confidence to simulating entrepreneurial ventures, these workshops offer practical insights to shape their future. Workshop presenters can either create a workshop or hand-pick one of the Vital Link created workshops.

Be an Exhibitor
Showcase your organization’s opportunities and engage with a diverse pool of talented students at our Student Leadership Summit. To become an exhibitor, you must include available career resources or volunteer/internship opportunities for students to get involved with. It is strongly recommended that the booth incorporates engaging and interactive elements, if possible, in order to create enhanced experiences for students.

Volunteer
As a general volunteer, you’ll play a pivotal role in the success of our event. Your responsibilities include assisting with workshops and rotations, supporting registration and check-in, and lending a hand with various day-of event tasks.
