2026 My Dream Career Winners
This is your opportunity to showcase your “Dream Career” to Vital Link and the world. There are countless
career options available to you, including those in auto repair, veterinary, medicine, and singing! Snap a
picture of you demonstrating your “Dream Career: you will have the opportunity to win a career-based meeting with an industry professional.
between 6th – 12th grade and want the world to know what your aspirations are…then this contest is for you.
Career-Based Learning Prizes:
- Judges will select three winners from the 6th to 8th-grade category and the 9th to 12th-grade category.
- The two 1st place winners will have the opportunity to win a career-based meeting with an industry professional.
Official Submission Rules:
- Eligibility: Must be 6th to 12th grade to participate. Vital Link employees, board members, and their immediate family members are NOT eligible. Immediate family includes spouses, parents, siblings, and children. All
- entries MUST INCLUDE a photo, an essay, contact information, and a photo release. If any of these elements are missing, the photo will not be eligible for judging.
There will be six winners in total.
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners from 6th-8th grade and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
- place winners from 9th-12th grade.
Judging: Entries will be judged based on:
- How the photo communicates your career clearly
- Creativity
- Image Quality
- Well-written and grammatically accurate essay (within 200-300 words)
- How is the essay content relevant and directly related to the image you submit

Important Dates
- Submission Deadline: All submissions must be received by Sunday, February 8th, 2026, before 11:59pm.
(Any photos submitted after the deadline will not be eligible for judging.)
- Semi-Finalists Announced: February 20th, 2026. (Will be notified via the email provided on the entry form)
- All submissions for semifinalists will be judged by Vital Link Team members and board members.
- Semi-Finalists will be invited to the VIP Celebration in March 2026, where Vital Link will announce the winner.
Participant Rules
- Images must be submitted in High-Resolution JPG format (Max 6 MP).
- Number of Entries: ONLY one photo per participant, any participants who attempt to submit multiple photos will be ineligible for judging.
- Snap a picture of you demonstrating your “Dream Career.”
- Photos containing recognizable people must include a signed photo release form for each person in the photo.
- Panoramic photos are NOT eligible.
- Photos CANNOT contain the name/description of their Dream Career
- Ex. Can not explicitly say “Doctor, Character Design, Basketball Player, Architect, Engineer”…
- we need to be able to know what your Dream Career is just by looking at your picture.
- Photos must be appropriate for posting on a public website.
- Obscene, provocative, or otherwise questionable content will not be considered.
- Vital Link retains sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content.
- Photos, regardless of the medium, will not be returned.
Written Essay Requirements:
- You must include, along with your photo, an essay (at least 200 words, not exceeding 300 words) explaining what inspired you to select this career and why you want to pursue this career in the future.;
