Solar Energy Academy

The Solar Energy Academy exposes high school students to the workings of the solar electric industry through a project-based learning framework. Students collaborate in groups to establish a solar company and draft a proposal for a home solar project that will be shown to a panel of business experts. Through this week-long “learn by doing” framework, students gain a real-world perspective into the work of solar energy and the careers that are offered.
